How can I register as a parishioner?
To register complete a registration form and return to the Parish Office. Forms are located at all the Church entrances or can be printed off here. Registration Form (pdf).
How can I sign up for automatic payment of offertory donations?
St. Martin's uses FaithDirect as a way for parishioners to have their offertory automatically deducted from their checking account or charged to a credit card. Check out the FaithDirect website at www.faithdirect.com. Remember to include St. Martin's code of MD126 when you enroll. For more information you may contact the Parish Office.
Where can I find information about making funeral arrangements?
In addition to the Parish Office, information can be found at the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Washington, DC (CCAW) web site, www.ccaw.org.
How do I get my child baptized?
Baptisms are offered in English and Spanish. Baptisms in English for infants and young children take place on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of each month at 3:00 pm. A preparation class for parents and godparents is held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 pm in the school. Parents must contact one of the parish priests prior attending the class to set the date of their child's baptism. Unbaptized children aged 6 and up should enroll in the Children's Catechumenat (Religious Education Office).
Spanish baptisms are the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 3:00 pm. Parents must interview with the Spanish Deacon prior to attending classes that are offered on Sunday mornings. Please call the Parish Office and ask for extension 208.

How do I register my child for Religious Education?
Religious Education is offered in English and Spanish. Registration for classes that run during the school year begins in July for new students. Please contact the Religious Education Office for more information - 301-990-2556. There is a fee for these classes.
How do I get a copy of my baptism certificate?
To obtain a current copy of your baptism, confirmation or marriage certificate, please call the Parish Office. Be prepared to have as much information as possible. New certificates take about a week to process.
How do I order a Mass card or flowers for the Altar?
Please come to the Parish Office to get a Mass card. Each weekend flowers are placed in front of the Altar. You may remember your loved ones by memorializing these flowers. The name of the memorialized person or family will be placed in the bulletin on that weekend. Mass intentions for the week are also printed in the bulletin. Altar flowers are $50 each weekend. Please note that no flowers are placed on the Altar during the Lenten and Advent season. For more information call the Parish Office.
